Anma: Japanese Foot and Hand Massage is based on Sokushindo which is the oldest tradition of foot massage and reflexology in the Orient.

Professional one day training course which utilizes a blend of acupressure and Anma massage techniques that reduce tension and offer tremendous health benefits.

Exclusive to MTMB Institute Workshops our Anma Japanese foot and hand massage course helps to reduce stress whilst stimulating the body to cleanse itself of impurities and toxins. Furthermore it sooths, refreshes and revitalizes energy levels.

The course is available to complete beginners or therapists looking to offer an additional therapy to their clients.

Learn the 45 techniques used in supine position and 18 techniques used in the prone position.

Students also learn the 18 techniques used in Japanese hand massage.

Specific aspects of the training include instruction in three of the Tabuso pressure points of the feet and three of the Tabuso pressure points of the hand.


It will be of interest to massage therapists who want to spend more time on feet and hands and reflexologists who would like to explore the Japanese connections of western reflexology.

By the end of the course the student will have a clear understanding of the principles of the Anma Traditional Japanese techniques.

Students will learn how to give a one hour foot massage in the prone posititon, a one hour foot massage in the supine position and a one hour hand massage based on the Anma techniques.


Course includes: Manual & Certificate - Twelve, (12) Continuing education credits are awarded to the Massage Therapist after completion of the following course.

Reporting to CE Broker in Florida, Georgia and Wisconsin only. All other jurisdictions, students must self report to Governing Body.
