This course is approved by NCBTMB, all states that accept NCBTMB hours. FL Board accepts this home study course as it's "live" hands-on relevant to massage technique CE credit.
This course will go over Medical Massage techniques using OMT, Strain/Counterstrain, Trigger Points, and what effect they have treating pain and disabling conditions of the upper extremities.
This course will introduce:
Addressing Medical Conditions
Contraindications
Musculoskeletal Pain Referral
Possible Causes of Traumatic Sprain/Strain Injury
Overuse/Repetitive Sprain/Strain
This course will provide the student with a comprehensive knowledge of how to treat pain and disabling conditions of the upper extremities. Students will be qualified to work with physician referrals.
